Poll question: Which movie should I watch? (poll)
Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 09:09 PM by Moonbeam_Starlight
It's my FIRST POLL EVER!!! YAY ME!

Ok which movie? I've seen all of them at least once. I'm jonesing for some Ewan McGregor action, but all this talk of musicals makes me want to watch Chicago again. Then again, maybe I'm a bit gloomy and want The Pianist, ALTHOUGH every time I think of O Brother, I crack up. And Gosford Park, damn, that's NEVER a bad choice. I'm torm. Help? Notice the RNC is NOT a choice.

BONUS! You get a wee glimpse of Ewan's not-so-wee thang.

On edit, oh my gosh, are we allowed to say such things here? Apologies if not!

13. Hmmm
it's not very boney at that point. I know. I've freeze-framed it. I am a pervert when it comes to Ewan, sorry.

15. There's also another flick where Ewan
shows the goodies. The name of the movie escapes me at the moment.

I only rented it for that reason. I Fast-forward it until I got to that part.

12. Hey you're in Austin?
Great town. Wish I lived there, but the cedar drives me bonkers. I live in a Dallas suburb (a decent, NON-snotty one!).

Um, God, it would be way too hard to list them. I did post here earlier than I have a new fascination with Hitchcock and musicals. What a combo.

I love biographical movies, sci-fi, SOME romantic comedies (some suck), and O Brother Where Art Thou just rocks. "Damn. We're in a tight spot!"

"But you're not bona fide!"

20. Grew up in Dallas / Richardson / University Park
Knew that area well at one time.

One of my favortites is Dr Strangelove.
and for some odd reason I am nuts about 7 Samurai even though its shot in B&W with subtitles.
lIke some of the Sci Fi genre. One I liked was Pitch Black.
I am kind of odd regarding movies.... my tastes are not mainstream - having a film degree only made it worse.

Hitchcock - fine directory, but give me Boris Karloff for terror. His TV series THRILLER scared the wits out of me as a kid. Some of Hitchcock's Sunday Night dramas were not bad either.

Musicals.... Gilbert & Sulivan, The Mikado
and The Music Man come to mind.

18. Since I was an extra in "O, Brother..." and it was filmed a few blocks
from my home, I'll have to go with the Coen brothers. I actually met George Clooney (sort of)...
