I see cheap hosting on ebay all the time. The money you're getting from Google ads would cover that.

7. no it was a side thing on the webmasters server

he's a great guy, and the site that makes him money so he can support his son and send money to his family in albania and put himself to school needs his attention. he wants to not have it running when he has no plans of posting because it's in his name. he wants to keep the name, because he might want to start posting news stories later on.

i was not being paid for keeping it open while he decided. i just liked the free speech thing and his whole attitude about life, his role as a new american and his sense of humour is wicked! it was a privelege and a joy to post stories there.

8. i am trying out things here

i am used to more freedom of expression, but having tangled with some vile trolls on a site with less than 1500 members, i now understand the need that DU has for putting constraints on a site with 50,000 members...even though kaos and maybe landi trolled freeperville and got tombstoned several times, i don't think the rimjob gang was aware of our existance.

while it's hard to face change in life, it's a good thing...in the past i have asked landi to keep it going...this time though...he was so proud to be able to help his mom and sisters out, it made me cry, and i knew it was time to let go...
