Anyone else turned off by all the laughing and joking by Begala &
Carlson (and one other CNN staffer)today? The media makes me so sick and disgusted. These are very important things going on today and all they can do is make "in-jokes" about their media brethren. What spoiled brats they are.

2. Umm... I'm not sure what you mean - cause I didn't see it
As a member of the media I gotta say, you'd be suprised how normal all of it becomes to the point where you become sarcastic. And then you joke about it the way anyone else would. It's twisted but true.
If we spent all of our time being serious, we'd just be a bunch of depressed alcoholics.

5. Then keep it to yourselves. The public isn't interested in your
little "in" humor. Every profession has its version of "black humor" but don't rub your client's face in it.

6. As I said, I didn't see it. But yes, they shouldn't be parading it on TV

3. Begala was a business partner and best friend of Rove's media guy
Mark McKinnon

you can look that up.

Begala's sister was Gore's press head in 2000 while Begala's partner was hired by Rove.

Public Strategies Inc. is the company. Iy is where the polityical spooks sleep together.

I do not trust Begala or his sister at ALL!

7. I loathe the smirking Begala - would rather have Carlson as at
least I know where he is coming from.

8. Neither do I
I honestly can't stand Begala, even though I often agree with him. He reminds me of Hannity in a way - even conservatives can't stand Hannity, and by the same token I don't know any liberals who wouldn't be happy to do without Begala's "help."

4. Yes, count me in...
as one who is.

That extra-creepy Carlson or worse, that sociopath Nofacts, says some outrageus statement which impugns some poor Dem, and Begala just sort of waves at it in a rhetorical sense. he should call that bow-tied little pantywaist an liar, and should stop Novak in his tracks the way Kinsley used to on that show.

9. Begala is an insider with close connections with Rove.
Begala has no interest in helping our side, that's why the Right Leaning CNN hired him the "represent" the Left.

:puke:

11. Begala assassinated Cynthia McKinney for the extreme right
Remember him saying sdhe3 was NUTZ because she asked whether "Bush KNEW" before 911.

He totally assassinated her! And who did it serve: the right wing here and the Likud in Israel.

Begala harmed all democracy and all democrats with that.

14. He hid behind his chair!!!!!!
That was the moment when I ceased being a yellow-dog Democrat. Cynthia McKinney posed a thought-provoking question, and Begala hid behind his chair like a coward.

Shameful.

16. Yup - and hid under his desk - the turncoat wussie - Instead of defending
her.

As it turns out she was right on all counts.

Bush KNEW and tens of thousands have now died as a result!

McKinney was right.

Begala is a sellout

12. I think they are almost all sellouts - but not ALL of them
But usually the good ones get canned.

The ones who stay are all corporofascists (almost)

18. Crossfire went down the toilet when they
went to a 1/2 hour show in the afternoon, and go rid of Bill Press and Pat Buchannon...

Oh those early evening 1 hour shows with those two going at it were a thing of beauty... Pat would actually have little streams of spittle on the cormers of his mouth because Press would always kill his innuendos dead cold with facts...

ahhhhh, the good old days of the good old CNN...
