If it's good enough for Air America, it's good enough for us.

I just talk to someone from the bar and he said it's perfect for a crowd who wants to hang out and drink (they have no dining crowd - he recommends bringing your own munchies).

How about 7:30 at Rocky O'Sullivan's
129 Lexington Avenue (between 28th & 29th) street.

If you think you want food - bring munchies and bring enough for everyone!!!

BTW - they like that we're progressives, we'll be right at home.

The reason for 7:30 - some of us are going to the 5:30 bell ringing at Ground Zero.

So you're going from Ground Zero (access to West Side trains) to the East Side. Well, it's not a LONG walk. If the weather's nice. I'm sure there won't be any obstructions around City Hall. Much. And you won't be going as far as Penn Station so you won't have that crowd to worry about. Lex and 28?

2. Actually, I don't plan to be at Ground Zero for more than 30 minutes

Our hotel is near Madison Square Park - we'll walk from there! That's why it's 7:30 and not 7pm - just to give us some leeway time!!

I just looked up Madison Square Park which, I now know, relates to Madison Avenue. For people staying at a hotel there, the bar you have chosen is probably perfect.
