Looking for inexpensive monthly hotel rate
I seem to remember a series of commercials recently airing, offering a 'home away from home' for business travelers. The rates were around $300 a month.

I forget the name of the chain.

Can anyone help me out?

1. Are you SURE it wasn't $300 a week?
Here in Las Vegas there are a couple of "residential hotels" near the downtown area that are about $99 if you pay by the week, but just looking at them from the outside you couldn't get me to even set foot in them, much less stay in them, no matter WHAT they were charging.

About 4 years ago I stayed in a weekly rental place near the Hard Rock Hotel that was $165 a week with utilities paid, but it was a complete hellhole too. One time I came home to find myself locked out of my apartment with a red sticker on my door and the locks changed. Someone was still in the office and when I pounded on the door and asked WTF they were trying to do to me, they came back a few minutes later all flustered and explained to me that they actually meant to lock out the people next door for non-payment.

Anyway, if you can find anything worth your time for $300 a month, please let me know what and where it is and I'll just move the hell out of my current $619/month apartment. :D

2. I've stayed at Motel 6 for long periods for low cost. I don't know about
your area though. Try them and Motel 8. Most places have a weekly/monthly rate. So do some apartment buildings.
