Giant Raccoon Fight!
Well, not giant raccoons. Just a big fight. I was in the house and heard all sorts of odd noises - sounded like a pack of attacking Godzilla. I went out on the street to watch - all my neighbors did, too!

Three raccoons going crazy. Lord, the noises they made! We scared 'em off, and one hung around making the most horrible sound - maybe he was hurt, but he was walking OK. Probably just mad.

The good news is I met a guy two doors down I'd never met in my 6 years here. The bad news is I introduced myself to a neighbor I'd met many times. In my defense, it was dark out :)

1. Erm, are you sure they were, um "fighting"? If you know what I mean.
And I think you do.

2. ah
that whiny sound might've just been a sexually frustrated raccoon.

But raccoon mating season is in the Spring.

5. I'm gonna start
setting them up as a neighborhood bonding exercise.

The cock fights seem to have lost their uniting power.

4. Maybe just your everyday family squabble?
Mom and Pop just tryin' to kick their kid to the curb?

6. Ya know what?
That's probably what it was. The guy who walked away all pissing and moaning was a youngster. Maybe he just got kicked out of his parents' basement.
