Some Olympic terms - definitions.

Road Event:

What it is: 1 of 3 events: Marathon, 20km or 50km race walks.

What it is not: Having fun with your boy/girl friend in the car.


Compulsory Event:

What it is: Required moves to demonstrate basic skills in an event.

What it is not: Gay - Bottoming on his birthday - again. Straight - blowjob on his birthday - again.


The Snatch:

What it is: In weightlifting, lifting the bar above the shoulders in one move

What it is not: OK, let's not go there.


Chainsuck:

What it is: The chain getting stuck between the chainstay & the rear wheel of your bike.

What it is not: OK, let's not go there either.


Scoring Area:

What it is: In taekwondo, the area of an opponents face or body where a strike may be made to score a point.

What it is not: Your shower/living room/etc.


Men's Floor Exercises:

What it is: Gymnastic routine comprised of running flips, handsprings and other feats.

What it is not: What you and your man did in the empty cabin by the lake this summer.


Handball:

What it is: A seven player team sport.

What it is not: Checking yourself for testicular cancer.


Coxless Pair:

What it is: Team of 2 rowers without anyone steering (coxswain).

What it is not: A lesbian couple.
