I am not a football fan....

I am not interested in watching grown men play a childs game and being overpaid for it. What part of sitting on your buttocks swilling beer watching a game makes someone a "real man"? Seems to me a real man would be doing things rather than watching others.

I know this will be locked but I had to respond to the posters that thought people that hate football are "candy-asses". My experience has been that it doesn't take much "manliness" to watch anything, doing is another matter.

I'm a woman. I don't care who likes football and who hates it. What matters to me is that I like it and I watch it.

I can't stand basketball and don't watch it. I don't demean those who do watch it. Why would I? It's a waste of time and silly anyway.

I don't drink beer. I don't drink at all. That is a generalization.

Football is a violent game but it's also a game of skill. That's why I enjoy it.

I don't care if people enjoy football, I just had to respond to some of the posters that called us "candy asses" and accused us of going to flower shops during the games. I couldn't because the thread was locked so I decided to respond in my own post.

As for me being an "asshole", maybe I am.
