How is everyone this morning? How has everyone been? Sorry for my lack of prescence lately (if you even noticed). I was sick, ended up going to the E.R. and then I had company for the rest of it. (my favorite Marine) :D

I've missed you guys too! My morning's aren't complete without my dose of DU! :) And HIGH, HIGH octane caffeine. I didn't get much sleep last night, kinda trying to avoid the inevitable.

And thank you. I'm mostly recovered. Basically, I had a virus (fever, sore throat, etc.) and I broke out in a really weird rash. I looked like a freak! Turns out it was a viral exanthem that was caused by my body's reaction to the virus. Basically I was doped up on pain meds for about 2 days. It was... interesting. Throat's still a little sore and I have a cold sore now, but nothing that won't go away. :D

That sounds like a thoroughly miserable experience. Really glad your feeling better. I haven't seen you around during the DU night shift lately ... guess you have shifted schedule. 22. Skin problems seem to be going around

My friend at the pro soccer match had what he thought was heat rash. He was rather uncomfortable at the game. The home team losing didn't help. :( They played like they stayed up late the night before.

My friend is in good health, except for the skin. Most likely an allergic reaction to something.

Mom is improving. She was awake, but groggy, and can breathe on her own. I'll visit this afternoon after work. :thumbsup:

I haven't told my brothers because the slackers need to go visit her. They need a :kick: and no excuse is good enough.

I'm good, I was very busy last week at work ( still am really ), but I still noticed your absence.

We had my parents down at the weekend, so my Wife and I got a bit of a break. The weather was awesome so we took them sight seeing as well as getting some help fixing up our garden.

25. On an up at the moment

Being on holiday helps, as does going to the gym ( she gets a real kick out of working out ). In three weeks she is back at work so that will be the real tester. We are getting a new bathroom put in our house though so it is something to look forward to. Sometimes things like that help.

It's no wonder it is noticed when you aren't here.

Alice is really getting fun now. She still wants to get up to early, but every day she is more fun to play with and interact with. There are signs of toddler tantrums to come though, like every 5 mins when you have to take something off her that she is sure she is entitled too, but we are sure she shouldn't have. She is also in to chucking things off surfaces at the moment. Luckily only one major breakage so far.
