Just saw Bourne Supremacy
Whoohoo! Fun movie! Makes up for that crapfest I saw yesterday (The Village).

2. I liked The Village
It was a good allegory for the war on terror(tm).

I got the message. I got the allegory. That didn't make it a good film. I figured out the "twist" after about 10 minutes. William.... Hurt.... spoke like..... this..... for two.... hours.... it was.... very.... annoying.

The film was too long, each scene was too long, each SHOT was too long. There were a few good things in it (Howard was good, and a few shots were pretty) but it was just a bad movie, no matter how good its message. Adrien Brody and Sigourney Weaver played parts ANY no-name actor could've done.

And I say all this as someone who REALLY liked Sixth Sense, The Others and Signs.

4. I second that
I still haven't seen the Village but heard it sucked monkey balls.

5. Is it necessary to see Bourne Identity first?
In order to enjoy B.S.?

8. I think it would help somewhat....
but there's really only a couple basic things you need to know, and they're established early in the second movie. But the first one was quite good, too and will set it up nicely. Go rent it.

6. I'm looking forward to seeing that movie
I thought The Bourne Identity was terrific -- the kind of movie that moves so fast it's over before you know it.
