1992
I graduated from high school, spent my summer with skater boys (yay!) and voted in my first Presidential election (yes, I voted for Clinton).

1. Got laid off for the first and only time.
That was in early May. We had 4 year old and 18 month old sons at home and a large mortgage. But....

Since we were paying for childcare and since I was commuting so far, I actually broke even while collecting Unemployment. I stayed home with the kids for 14 months.

Spent the Summer gardening and baking bread at a beautiful old English Manor style house we had only been in for 8 months.

Life was fine. But the future looked grim.

3. Before reprehensor, hands down the best year of my life.

I lost almost 40 pounds and was getting double takes when I walked down the street. That had never happened my whole life. I finally gained the confidence I had never had before. I went from wallflower to the happiest I'd ever been.

This helped me to get myself back to school within the next year and a half, finally earning my degree, and increasing my confidence even more.

I dated the man who showed me that I did not have to settle. He was gorgeous, incredibly intelligent, sensitive, thoughtful, and broke my heart in a million pieces. He was still one of the walking wounded from someone who'd hurt him 2 years before. But the few months that I had with him were heaven.

There is no way that I would have been ready for the deep love I have for reprehensor without experiencing Randy first.
