Ughhhhhh I'm 24....
I can't take hot foods as well as I used to. I had a Cajun burger wioth extra hot sauce for lunch today at a bar in Stevens Point, and now my stomach is letting me know that that particular order was not a good choice. What the fuck is happening? I used to be able to scarf down hot spicy food no problem.

7. Welcome to the club
Gerd Club

Pepcid complete is a good 'un

OTC prilosec is another

Spicey food is part of it, carbonated beverages with caffeine, alcohol, smoking will all contribute

10. Soda?
I've had way too much of that today. Enough Diet soda and coffee to keep an elephant awake for a week.

20. How long can you take Prilosec OTC?
They recommend (on the box) only for 2 weeks.
I was wondering, 'cause I need something to tide me over until I get hired on at my job (I'm an independent contractor right now) and I'm suffering from acid reflux.
I don't have any other choice, and I'm miserable with heartburn right now.

8. I'm feelin' ya...
I've crossed over to the other side (20) and I had pizza for lunch today that gave me such heartburn that made me swear off pizza forever. Now that I'm feeling better I think I will re-examine that statement.

22. Thanks!
I have to say, I'm enjoying the 30s a lot more than the 20s, so far. It's funny, because I really dreaded turning 30.
