3. I really want Lance to win but ever since bush predicted Lance's win would
coincide with his presidential win I've had this unreasoning urge hoping he loses, Lance that is and then of course bush

5. With about 1/2 mile to go
One of the riders broke out from the pack and had at least a 40 yard lead. The announcers basically admitted he won this leg of the race. Then, as he was coasting to the finish line, Lance caught up to him and raced acrss the finish line and beat him by about a foot. Incredible.

8. Heck of a race. Poor Floyd Landis. Does all the work, but gets no glory!
I just hope Basso can hold off Kloden and Kloden can hold off Ullrich. That would be an awesome podium.

He overcame cancer to become one of the world's greatest athletes.

He represents the triumph of the human spirit.....that applies to all mankind, not just the United States.
