Tourons on getting on my last nerve.
Anyone else live in a tourist area? Here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland it's just the worst. Why do vacationers leave their brains and good sense at home. "I'm, by God, on vacation and I'll act like a complete shit head if I want". I realize we're all tourists at some time but I'll be damned if I ever acted like a complete rube. My wife dragged me here to live kicking and screaming the whole way(she's from MD). I'm a mid westerner. Ocean City would be the last place I would choose to vacation.

2. What are tourists? I live in Cleveland
Whenever I go on vacation, I hear - "Look at the tourist!" but I don't see him.

(for those that don't get my sense of humor, how many people do you know that think of Cleveland when they think of a vacation destination?)

No can do.

8. New York.
They don't want to be bothered coming to Cleveland.

I believe that the ceremony is close-circuited to the RNRHOF, though.

3. Can't Remember When I DIDN'T Live In A Touron Area!

I've lived in LA, Hollywood, San Francisco, Albuquerque, Houston...

We were *always* dealing with 'em! Hollywood was the worst. We lived one block off Hollywood Blvd and Highland ave. We could SEE Mann's Chinese Theatre out of our window. AI-yi-YI! Parking? Whazzat? And becuse our apartment was in a biulding that had been built in 1929 and had been a place where several famous stars had lived before becoming famous (the building was built as housing by a studio) not only did we deal with tourons when we went shopping and stuff, but we had TOUR BUSES crusing by our windows with passengers peering inside!

I drove the bus guides *crazy* by alternately putting up a poster of the star who had lived in my apartment and by walking around the place stark naked! The poor bastards *never* knew which was coming up as they drove by.

I was young and stupid.

11. Why do they call it "tourist season" if you can't shoot them?
Ha - a coworker has that as a bumper sticker. Seriously - I live where they filmed Northern Exposure. I also live in an interesting house - I get a lot of crawling drivebys by people with mouth agape.

Some pics of where I live:

12. Hey, if you don't like the tourists . . .
Why don't you give back the money they pump into your economy?

The real problem isn't tourists in Seattle, it's all the damned Californians who move into the suburbs and ruin our traffic.
