Bumper sticker I have been seeing around Houston...

It says "Marriage is" and then has the figure for a man and the plus sign (+) and then the figure of a woman.. the real plain ones, like you see on bathroom signs. I have seen three of them in the past week. It pisses me off, and I always make a point to pull ahead so they can see my blue and gold HRC sticker (along with all my other subversive stickers).

Well, today, I saw a lady on I-45, just north of Texas City with that stoopid sticker. I pulled ahead, and looked her way, but she wasn't looking. Well, about 5 minutes later, she comes SPEEDING up behind me, get in the left lane, looks over at me, shaking her finger at me, and obviously ranting some bullshit I should be glad I couldn't hear!!!LOL!!! I stuck my tongue out at her, and then winked, smiled, and blew a kiss. She just kept on ranting in her state of rage.


Of course I hate to see people like her, but a little part of me felt good that my existence and beliefs might have ruined her day:-)


Have y'all see these stickers around too, or is this a new or local thing?

yeah marriage is something only men and women can have. How do they explain all the long term gay and lesbian relationships that have been going on longer than a lot of hetero marriages?

In TX we have common law marriages. If it applied to gays or lesbians there'd be a hell of a lot of them in common law marriages.

Those are people with a SERIOUS stick up their ass. It would hurt too much to pull it out, I guess, so they leave it there.
