1. I might.

But, I really dislike movie theaters. The fact I was in one at all says a lot for Michael Moore and his movie.

5. Is it me
or do theaters do everything possible to make you uncomfortable.

Those tiny seats, the narrow ailes, etc.

7. Actually the theater I went to is fairly comfortable.
At theaters go, anyway. My main objection is the REALLY LOUD COMMERCIALS!!!!! That, and if you have to go to the bathroom, you miss something! x(

Now, we do have a theater that sells food, beer, and wine, and it's great. I don't mind that theater so much, but the only location showing Fahrenheit 9/11 was inconvenient.

3. Yes, for two reasons....
1)To take my parents (the first time my wife and I went with my sister in law and her boyfriend).

2)To get that feeling again that I felt when the movie ended, the dedication came on screen, and an entire audience erupted in applause at what we had just seen.

Also the third reason is to keep my ass consistently kicked into action, which this movie did like no politician or public figure or speech ever has.

4. Not immediately.
I may, however, catch the inevitable second-run screening at Trinity College in Hartford long about September.

10. I'll buy the video when it comes out
My butt went numb about 1:00 into the movie. Now, if it opens at the drive-in, I'll go see it again otherwise, I'll buy the video.

11. I'll go again.
I went to the Varsity in Chapel Hill last time. I may go to the Carolina theatre in Durham next. It's one of those old magnificent movie palaces. MM requested it especially when he was here for the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival back in the spring.

Here's opening night at the Carolina, courtesy of MM.com

13. Without question...
Saw it Friday night in a pretty shitty movie theatre with a friend who's definitely progresive but way too laid back. I'm going to try to go this week with a somewhat militant friend in a really nice stadium seating theatre. It'll mean leaving work early or going in late..

15. Seeing it again Wednesday
with my best friend - matinee - since we are both unemployed (thanks, George).

Then I'll take my husband this weekend.

Then I'll take my sister.

Then I'll take my Father.

Then I may take my 90-year-old liberal condo neighbor!

17. Maybe; I want to see it in the suburbs and get the white-bread reaction
Edited on Mon Jun-28-04 01:59 PM by truthspeaker
The first time I saw it was in uptown Minneapolis, liberal central.

Plus I'd like to pump up the ticket sales a little more so it stays in the news.
