Turn Up the Heat: A National Town Meeting on Fahrenheit 9/11
http://action.moveon.org/f911

Meet Other MoveOn and True Majority Action Members in Your Area to:

-Join a live, interactive online conference call with Michael Moore
-Discuss Fahrenheit 9/11
-Plan local actions to defeat George Bush

Michael Moore's new film Fahrenheit 9/11 is an incredibly powerful movie that lays bare the cynicism and greed behind Bush's war policy. The astonishing and revealing footage in it has the power to change the course of the 2004 election. Millions of Americans will walk out of this movie angry at how George W. Bush has botched the fight against terrorism, deceived the American people, enriched his corporate cronies, and endangered lives around the globe.

But we need to turn that anger into action. So on Monday, June 28, moviegoers will gather in meeting halls and living rooms across the country. We'll come together for a national, online town meeting on Fahrenheit 9/11. You'll have a chance to join Michael Moore on a live, interactive, online conference call. You'll discuss his new movie with your neighbors. And, at each gathering, we'll organize local actions to win back the White House, as part of a massive effort to educate and register millions of voters before November.

We want to use this movie to launch a massive wave of on-the-ground organizing that can change the direction of the country. Help us make history!

1. A member of the Peace and Justice Center in Nashville was giving
out flyers advertising for a meet-up for Sunday. This would be an excellent way to pre-organize for the larger meet-up Monday.

Thought I'd pass this on for those who won't see the flick any time soon.

BTW, I lived in Nashville for fifteen years. I still REALLY miss it. I was in Berry Hill and Hillsboro most of the time.
