3. reminds me of the time

I read in the Washington Post Animal Control section (I don't remember what it is called). Anyway, they had captured an emu running down I-95 in Alexandria, VA and it was up for adoption at a humane society. I was trying to picture that chase in my head. :)

last year when I was taking one of the farm cats to the vet I saw an EMU running down the gravel road. I mentioned it to the vet and he said YOU KNOW THERE IS A BOUNTY ON THAT BIRD. Yup, like I was gonna be interested in bagging me an EMU. :o
