1. Uh-Oh
Somebody grab and tie Bartman down before he escapes Northfield in time for the playoffs.

5. I Don't Care
I ain't paying another $1000 plus for a game I've been dreaming of all my life just to see a jerk like Bartman blow it...again...!!!!!!

An honest game between the players is something else and I can't bitch about who wins or loses on the field.

7. Some On-Line Scalper
When I happened to be in Chicago last year visiting another DUer.

I'm still a die-hard Cubbies fan, although I'm still tempted to leave a cattle-car full of goats in his parent's yard.

4. I don't think he hung it

It looked low and away to me. Lane's swing looked like a nine-iron hack shot. It was a weird HR.

10. Come on now, it's not Bartman's fault!
I said it before, I'll say it again...

1) There were lots of people reaching for that ball. He happens to have been the poor bastard who caught it.

2) The real problem with that inning was Alex Gonzales totally blowing a double play and turning it into a null set symbol play.

3) Bartman wasn't in attendance for Game 7, now was he.

Still, I suppose it's worth it to remind everyone: STAY AWAY FROM THE BALL!

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

12. A's vs. Cubs
Wow... it's a shame that the rotations and injuries wreaked havoc with this series. This would've been one for the ages.

When I first saw this series on schedule months ago, I had envisioned something like Hudson-Prior, Mulder-Wood, and Zito-Maddux.

Still, it's a pretty damn good weekend's worth of baseball:
Today: Redman (4-3, 4.52) vs. Clement (7-4, 3.15)
Saturday: Mulder (3-2, 2.94) vs. Prior (0-1, 4.66)
Sunday: Zito (3-1, 3.98) vs. C. Zambrano (4-0, 1.66)
