Won a trip. What should we do there in that amount of time?

3. the fountains at the Bellagio
Also, Cirque du Soleil. They've got a new 'adult' show now, too.

5. I like to just walk and gawk
See the statues that move at the Caesars Mall, the volcano and pirates show at ???, the glass art at the Venezia, the gondolas, etc. Just walk and see the overabundance (all free).

As an aside, I once met a man at a party whose job was to do the interior design at casinos. You would never have guessed his job when you met him. I only learned 15 to 20 minutes into the conversation.

6. Celine Dion
But good luck getting tickets. The show without her would be worth seeing with it's visual effects, etc., but she don't sing bad either. Don't get taxis, use the good old bus up and down strip; don't try to walk it, you won't like that part. Be sure and see New York casino - well, Hell, ALL the casinos. Have a good time and watch your buckets. I had just won $75 in quarters and some jerk thru 8 nickels under my legs. The exact second I looked down he grabbed by bucket and took off. Lesson learned.

8. First of all, ask for a room upgrade!
If they want a few dollars more, give it to them. The suites are unbelievable!
Next, remember that a $1.00 bill in your town is equal to a $2o.oo bill in vegas. Shit is expenseve!
The hookers show up at about 11:00 P.M. at the bar and they are absolutly stunning. The going rate is also about $300.00 to 400 per hour. A little pricy for me.
Don't eat at the fancy reastraunts in the casino's. They are WAY overpriced.
If you have a chance to eat at Emerils (call them now) you will never forget it. Still about $100.00 A pop.

7. If possible, Blue Man Group at the Luxor

O, Zumanity (I've haven't heard the reviews for this, but it's an
adult - nude - Cirque show)... there are a number of others.

Decide what you are doing and order tickets in advance, otherwise
you may overpay for bad seats.

I, personally, don't think any of the "showgirls" type shows are
worth it... topless girls in big costumes are not entertaining
to me. If I want topless, there are many good strip clubs...
otherwise I'd rather see a good comedian or a Cirque.

But Blue Man Group is my all time favorite Vegas show (because it's
sooo not Vegas)

10. The giant fish tank at the Mirage
I think it's the Mirage -- it's right behind the registration desk.

And the M&M museum is fun.

The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace are fun to browse in, but dang expensive.

The Rio has a show in the lobby where they throw out beads like at Mardi Gras or Carnival.

11. Well, they shut down the Glass Pool Inn...
So why bother going?

If you want to feel like a high roller, go to the Fremont in old Vegas at like 2 AM ...you can bet with dollar chips and they'll look at you like you're Donald Trump or something.

If you got to the Mirage, there's a French restaurant with a weird "cone of silence" ceiling under a parabolic dome in the middle... you can hear every whisper at the table on the other side of the room because of the shape of the ceiling. I overheard this priceless "goomba" conversation when I was there.

Have fun, and "always bet on black."
