here's a fascinating website where people submit their own prayers for reason and the end of the Bush administration . . . both admirable pursuits, imo . . . (if you're not religious, just substitute "creation" or "the universe" or whatever for God) . . . :)

Policy or Prophesy? You Decide.
The President of The United States of America takes policy direction from people who are trying to bring about armaggedon. There are nearly 3 million people praying for George W. Bush every day who believe he has been callled to his office by some sort of divine power. They believe that God - specifically a Christian God - wants George W. Bush to be President! Our country is falling into the hands of fringe religious zealots whose personal beliefs and goals are not those of the majority of this country.

Pray For Reason is a call to Americans of all religions and belief systems who want to see their country's policies at home and abroad based on facts, history, and reasonable thought processes. Join us in pledging to do everything we can to remove the current administration from office.

Dear God (in all your forms),
protect us from those humans among us who wish to direct the destiny of the world for their own gain. Bring them humility, compassion and enlightenment, and allow them to see the interconnection of all beings. (Or bring down upon them a rain of burning rocks, whichever strikes your fancy.)

1. good site.

I started to pray to see clearly and wow!! I found the DU, found out why I have been very ill for so long etc.

I pray to the energy of life that runs thru and connects us all.

I am not religious in any way. I believe it is the opiate of the masses as Karl Marx Stated. People seem to stop thinking for themselves when they turn to organised religion, not all, but many.
