DU Gathering Sunday, June 27, 1pm Volunteers?

Hi, I wanted to follow up on the DU Gathering for the end of this month.

Already we have a gracious offer from NothingShocksMeAnymore to provide barbecue ribs (mmmmm) and I'll be preparing grilled chicken.

Does anyone have any special recipes or dishes they would like to bring?

We need:

1. Side dishes: vegetables
2. Side dishes: potatoes or rice
3. Beverages: Tea, coffee, sodas
4. Dessert: Suggestions needed
5. Maybe another entree

But if you have something special, please don't feel limited by these categories. I know someone is bringing delicious deviled eggs (mmmmm).

From the response from the notice posted on the Home Page and PMs I've counted about 35 people who expressed an interest in attending.

Additionally, if you attended in 2002, I hope I will get to see you again, so please, if you haven't already, post to this thread or PM me.

We had a ton of food last time, and BeHereNow and her husband were kind enough to give all the extra to a local charity to feed those less fortunate. Big round of applause for their thoughtfulness. :loveya:

And I would be happy to bring some food, if I do come down. Sounds like fun! And I'd travel hundreds of miles for NSMA's ribs! MMMMM!!! :D

which you are welcome to. I would love to meet you and it should be a fun time. We all got together in 2002 and it was, IMHO, a big success.

I also have two couches, although one is not very big, if we need them.

but hey, if someone knows how to set it up, sounds great to me. I have a very fast connection to DU, I just don't have the camera.
