8. I never did very good on crappies.

I have taken my son to NW Ontario fishing 3 times from here. I-35 goes from Tx to Duluth Mn. A straight shot up. He and I nailed walleyes, Northern Pike, smallmouth bass, and panfish(perch, bluegills). I would still like to catch a nice crappie.

12. Get this...

I caught my crappie in December on a sucker minnow! The minnow was like 6" long! I was fishing for walleyes, and it was about 8 o'clock at night, and the crappie bit like a walleye...and when I bought it in, it was a crappie the size of a friggen plate!

Unbelievable!

Oh, I also have a small walleye (6 1/2 pounds) mounted, but not on my mantle.

My son caught a 6 lb walleye and I told him I would get it mounted for him. When we went to pick it up the dumbass taxidermist painted it silver like a coho salmon. He still has it. It was from 1992.
