Watching the Moffett airshow from work

The Blue Angels are doing an airshow at Moffett field (right near by) and I can see them out my work's window. Great stuff!

About the only plus to working today...

2. Are you sure it is the Blue Angels and not the Thunderbirds?

I may be mistaken, but i thought the T-Birds were flying there this weekend

3. No idea - I thought all airshows were done by the Blue Angels

but that shows what I know about airshows

7. LOL! fair enough!....here's a tip...the Blue Angels are Blue!....

The Thunderbirds have a red, white and blue paintjob and the underside of their planes have a Thunderbird likeness. The T-birds are flying F-16's these days and the Blue Angels fly F/A-18 Hornets.
These planes are easy to distiguish because the Hornet is twin-engined and the F-16 has a single engine/exhaust at the rear.
