Am I abrasive?
In the past, I have been called abrasive and I have tried to work on it. When I was fired yesterday, the guy who fired me said that I came off as abrasive because people have complained about me being too intense when I got a lot of no's fundraising. I also said to trainers that failure was not an option. I have been trying to work on myself though yesterday indicated that I have not come very far. I just don't know. Please don't be too mean but be honest.

3. Yeah.
But in my experience, being abrasive has been an obstacle to success for me. In social situations and on the job.

2. Rub a darkened belt buckle with your bare hand
If it becomes shiny, then yes, you're abrasive.
