Burglar calls police on himself
Plainville -- A less than clever burglar made a phone call that lead to his own arrest on Wednesday.

The man was trying to rob a Dairy Mart when he placed a 911emerceny call claiming he was witnessing a burglary. He was apparently trying to divert attention from the scene.

However, police say Jack Peterson, 24, Plainville, unknowingly gave them the address where he was located.

Peterson was trying to direct them to another Dairy Mart but it recently changed it's name so police came to the scene of the crime and promptly took him away in handcuffs.
