Ex-Marine makes my day
:-)

An ex-Marine and Vietnam vet wrote me today about my anti-Bush website! He says he agrees with everything on the site, and he called me "sir!" I am honored.

He is a patriot twice over -- once for serving his country, and again, for resisting the UnAmerican BUSHCO.

I love the American people, I really do. The average American working joe or jane has more honor and integrity in their little finger than the whole Bush cabal! I know that these Bush supporters are just an extra-noisy minority, with all the power (empty power, but power nonetheless) of the propoganda machine behind them. We won the last one, and we will win this one too, only this time, we won't let them steal it!

I'm FIRED UP TODAY. Thank you, Mr. Ex-Marine Sir, for giving me a little dose of hope!

1. Beautiful
A small nit -- there are no "ex" Marines. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Or so I am told.
John
Who served in the Army Signal Corps and is perfectly content to be called an "ex-Signal Corpsman," though no one ever does.

3. Some of us continued to grow...
... after we left active duty.

I voted for Reagan in 1984, when I was a young Marine, and I'll spend the rest of my life trying to erase that stain.

You rock, sir!
