Jerry Lee Lewis VS Buddy Holly
I am a Buddy Holly man myself.

2. I vote Buddy
Jerry Lee may have been more physically talented, because I think it takes more talent to be able to play the piano the way he did while singing.

But Buddy was light years ahead of Jerry artistically, from the standpoints of song writing and vocal subtlety.

Just think what Buddy might have accomplished in the sixties, seventies, and beyond. He may have had a big dry spot, like Roy Orbison, maybe. But look at what Roy did in his later years; some of the best.

3. I really love Jerry Lee Lewis
(as a musician, not in his personal life), but Buddy Holly absolutely rules.

5. Gotta go with 'the killer'...
...he leaves me 'Breathless'...
All them Yellow Sun Records boys are great.
Buddy's good. Don't get me wrong.
But Jerry Lee was one of Billy Lee Riley's 'Little Green Men'. That's some street creds I'd say...

Monster piano player! Buddy was good, but Jerry Lee rocked.

7. Goodness, gracious, it's gotta be Jerry Lee
My brother, a keyboardist, worships The Killer. He even refused to see the biopic starring Dennis Quaid because he felt Jerry Lee shoulda played himself.

8. Buddy Holly!
He broke so many barriers, especially in his production techniques. Plus, his songs were fantastic.

I like Jerry Lee Lewis, but I'm much more of a Buddy Holly man. Plus, he's from Texas. :D
