Massive Search for Lost Cat
Like other DU'ers I have commiserated with the owners of lost cats. Here's a story of a Long Island town that went all out to locate "Tigger" - a forty-pound serval that climbed out of a basement window. Police searchers used dogs, even a helicopter in their hunt for the large-eared animal. It is unknown whether police were successful.

1. That's a wild animal
that should not be kept in a basement. When they find this animal (if it isn't shot) it should be sent to a wildlife refuge somewhere.

Why do people who profess to love beautiful animals want to keep them in places where it isn't appropriate?
