The Awful Fate of Those Who Pimp For the Chimp
Remember, Drew Carey was the hottest thing on television when he entertained at the inauguration and pimped for this unelected drunk...

"NEW YORK - For all the attention given to this week's "Friends" finale, another long-running comedy taped its final episode a few weeks ago — and few people outside its Hollywood set were aware of it.
The finale of "The Drew Carey Show" is expected to air on ABC sometime this summer.
That the show still exists at all for its ninth season has more to do with a classically bad business deal than any sense viewers want to see it.
By the middle of last season, ABC took it off the air, and burned off many of the show's episodes during the summer.
ABC didn't even bother putting it on this season. New episodes will premiere on June 2, and the network will show two first-run episodes a week during the summer — the television equivalent of an afterthought. "

Meanwhile, Michael Moore will be the toast of Cannes this summer. There's a lesson there...

3. Let's Not Forget Our Old Friend Dennis, Too
Let's not forget Dennis Miller as well, though he was not always staunchly in the liberal corner.

Once he sold his soul to Crawford Clowns he lost it all.

There's a simple reason to all this: There's nothing funny in this type of conservatism. They can't tell jokes without the very un-humorous foundations of bigotry, misogny, anti-intellectualism, and overall thundering ignorance.

The joke is ultimately on them.

6. I think Carey is a "Tax Cut" Bush Fan
Meaning the only reason Carey likes Bush is the tax cut. Carey obviosly doesn't share any of Bush's supposed social concerns. He's just a spoiled celebrity who wants to pay less taxes so be can buy more hookers. (Hey - Bush's tax cut does cause more employment!)

7. fine
He's still funny though. To lump him into the same group as Dennis Miller is just unfair.

I've never found Carey's humor to be very political. Just very funny. His book 'Dirty Jokes & Beer' is very good.

8. Think again
Drew Carey is a true libertarian. He is also one of the most charitable celebs. Gt off his back if you don't know what you are talking about.

Eh, at least he's honest.
