FWIW, I think it's best when you make your own curry paste, not just buy the powder in the grocery store. Good luck!:hi:

4. any spice that has a "c" in it
coriander/cilantro
cardamum
cumin
cinnamon
cloves
cayenne
tumeric
and garlic

not necessary in that order. there's no set proportion, it all depends on what mood you're in. that's what's so great about curry!

you can start by saute-ing the spices in simmering chopped onion, if you really want to violate the "c" rule.
