Last Night's Frontline: So... Chimpy is Marty Sheen in Dead Zone?
"God wants me to be President." A thousand other such magical thinking. Too fundy even for Billy Graham? Is it not just disturbing as hell that this loon holds the button?

6. I've seen the Dead Zone... but not the Frontline episode...
The Dead Zone was a good movie, but it's been a long time since I've seen it.

2. That's always been how I have seen him
And I hope the US military chain of command has enough collective wisdom to have tinker toys in the briefcase instead of any launch codes.

5. Frontline link, you can watch it in streaming video on 05.01.04
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jesus/

I watched....very frightening...

and how "God like" is it to send these very Christians jobs
overseas and then what is the rationale? It's "god's will"
that we destroy the American middle class...
if you have "faith" God will restore your economic prosperity...
"god doesn't close a door without opening a window"

Truly, truly frightening but at least explains how Bush even got
any votes at all.

7. Meanwhile, Vanity Fair is running an article next month on
one of the teens in the shelter that Smirky visited. The kid at the time asked essentially if he had a chance in this world, and the Chimp made photo op hay about how if the kid didn't have a chance, "it diminishes all of us."

FF to now--the kid is a gay hustler with an armload of conviction, living on the run, hiding out in lovers'/johns' houses, shouldering a Texas-size dose of irony on his back.

Leave No Kid Behind, unless they're not, y'know, the right kind.
