You could give him a hug and then he could give me that hug from you.

...we'd have to figure a way for me to pick them up. I leave at 7:45 tomorrow night. Of course I have to leave earlier than that.

15. Yeah, I'm working all day.
I can't commit to lunch because I might need to meet with my realtor.

I could swing by your office after work or something...

...what time do you get off work?

Keep in mind, I need to get to the airport 6:30-ish at the latest. Haven't decided whether to park there, or have someone drive me yet...

24. I can always come in a little early...
and takae off early. I'm usually outta here at 5:30 but that can be flexible. What time do you get off work and how long will it take you to get here? I can get outta here as early as 4:30 if I need to.

25. I get out at 4:00.
I guess I can blow off the gym. ;-)

How about we meet at 5:15 or so. That way you can work until 5, and just drive down when you get out. That will give me time to get home, grab my stuff, change clothes, blah, blah, blah....

18. The easiest thing in the world...
is to make the Original Tollhouse Cookie recipe that's on the back of the Nestle's chocolate chip package. Always use Flieshman's Original margarine if you can get it...that makes all the difference.

You can either follow the recipe on the package or get creative. Use the same recipe only use M&Ms instead of chocolate chips (no nuts in this one). Or use a bag of white chocolate chips and craisins instead of nuts. Or use chocolate chips but put in toffee bits instead of nuts. The possibilities are endless. And the recipe is easy.

My other easy favorite is brownies:

BROWNIES
2 sticks butter
¾ c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
Pinch salt
1 c. nuts
1 ½ c. flour

Melt butter. Add, mixing well, in this order: cocoa, sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt, nuts and flour.

Bake at 350E in greased 9x13" pan for 20-25 minutes.

22. I'm telling ya...
you can put just about anything in that Tollhouse Cookie recipe and it'll be yummy. White chololate chips and macadamia nuts are pretty good too. Though personally I'm still a big fan of the original recipe with pecans. Mmm...pecans.

Lynne, I'm going to miss you guys in DC next week. I just found out this morning that I have to spend the bulk of next week at our warehouse in (sigh) Lynchburg. Are you still going to be around Thursday?

27. We're leaving early probalby on Wednesday
Any way you can sneak back from Lynchburg one night for a fellow Perry Countian. I mean it's like a civic duty for the only 2 liberals who escaped the grips of that place (although mind you my nextdoor neighbor was the head of PC Democratic Party for years until he retired to Florida)

30. Let me see what I can do
It's about a 3 hour drive, but it's actually a nice drive. I don't think I'll have to work late while I'm down there, so I might be able to get back up to DC at a reasonable hour.

You know, I actually keep in touch with a number of high school friends, who are as liberal as you and I. I know some real militant conservatives, but most of the people I was friends with are hard core liberals working for Kerry this year.

31. You're also 10 years younger than me
I wasn't too politically active in HS but I was definately on my way to being a liberal. Probably because I was a big Jimmy Carter fan when I was 10. But it was bad when I was in school and believe me the teachers didn't do much to fix the problem either.

Did you have Mr. Garrity when you were in HS? I heard he had died a pretty sad death of some sort.
