I've only watched the reply of Ronde "showing blitz and then dropping back into coverage, intercepting McNabe and takin' it 95 yards to the house" about 1000 times.

I knew I set my self up to have January 19, 2003 rubbed in (that also turned out to be my birthday). Despite being a passionate fan, I will give credit where criedit is due and the Bucs beat the Birds thoroughly. Gruden completly showed up Reed and coached the pants off him, the Bucs defense was on, Tampa scorched the Eagles secondary (Bishop, Harris and their line backers were pathetic), and Donavon's accuracy was off (truthly I don't think his game is suited to the West Coast Offense and every time they force him in the pocket and not use his mobility it fails, along with abandoning the run to early) all done in very hostile territory. The only one of the Eagles that seemed to show up was Mitchell and Gruden adjusted his game and didn't kick the ball to him again after the opening kick off. Despite the heartbreak, I love a good rival and the Eagles/Bucs is turning out to be the premire of the league. I actually am picking the Bucs to repeat, even though that is tough to do. I think the Eagles are still lacking in an impact receiver, the situation with Duce is still a big question mark, special teams have hole, the defensive line has some question marks and I am really dissapointed with the loss of Mitchell and Douglas. Who knows what will happen year to year in the unpredictable NFL. LETS' GET READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

(and I try to keep this quiet most of the time.) I have been a Dallas Cowboy fan since I left Shreveport for Baton Rouge in 1960. Talk about suffering. Anybody who was loyal through that first year, when Landry platooned quarterbacks, sets a different standard of loyalty -- even living in Philly.
