I'm confused about the latest raid after the Iraqi attacks on
the US troops.

We have been told again and again that the terrorists from other countries (al-Qaida) were coming in and attacking our troops in Iraq.

So, our soldiers raided a bunch of Saddam loyalists in Tikrit? I thought that all the attacks were from people who were from outside of Iraq, not in the heart of it?

This is too confusing for someone who has been paying attention. I guess that I should just accept everything that Faux News says; my thinking will end, and I will be much happier, if not more fearful.

1. I have not heard anyone say
that attacks in Iraq were the EXCLUSIVE work of al-Qaida or similar islamists.

I thought the debate has been on percentage of attacks attributed to each group (AQ or Saddam loyalists) and whether there has been any cooperation between the two groups.
