need to stay in power" I finally agree with him on something.
Sounds familiar..The only part he left out was that "George the puppet" is doing just that.

He and Frum are on Charlie Rose

3. Sure, and the Poles started DubyaDubyaTwo
They invaded Germany first, don't you know? German-speaking Poles in outdated uniforms attacked a German Post in Aug 1939.

Germany was equally asjustified as the Busheviks for invading their nation and stealing their resources.

4. That made me gasp..
I was like "WHAT!!?? DO YOU IDIOTS HEAR YOURSELVES?!!" when I heard that. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only extremely ironic, doublethink, ass-backwards thing those two said. These neo-conservatives (if Mr. Brooks is reading, I don't hate jews!!) are either totally blind to reality, or they're just really, really fond of lying in huge ways.

10. Similar remarks on NPR's Morning Edition...
... this morning. Still don't know if I woke because of a weird dream, or the interview. Thought I was still half-asleep when I heard Perle reply to a question of how best to fight terrorism roughly as follows: "all the institutions of the UN are disposed to dealing with classic cold-war events, countries invading other countries' borders, but they don't know how to deal with terrorism."

No comment from the interviewer about the high irony in that statement.

No comment, either, from the interviewer on an earlier statement from Perle: "The UN needs to reform itself to accommodate the US's means of combatting terrorism."

I don't think the interviewer, Juan Williams, had even read the dustjacket notes.

One of the better commentaries on this particular "book" is here:

We've been jailing people left and right that are perceived to be threats to our security, and yet, these two bozos are running around loose. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

9. That's another to add to the list
An oldie but a goodie: "If we just let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely and we don't try to piece together clever diplomacy, but just wage a total war... our children will sing great songs about us years from now."

13. Sounds like the Klingon Empire
Sing songs about us? As they huddle in animal skins around a post-Apocalyptic campfire? Gee thanks, Mr. Perle.
