Did anyone on here vote for Bradley in 2000?
What would your reason be if you did?

1. I voted for Bradley in 2000
I perceived him to be the best and most liberal potential candidate in 2000.

As always in previous elections, I joined in and voted for the eventual nominee.

4. I actually supported McCain in 2000
Considered myself apolitical then, and I liked the fact that McCain appeared as a reformer and a war hero. One of the reasons why I'm a liberal is because of the way * treated McCain in the South Carolina primary.

10. Mea Maxima Culpa
I actually voted in the R primary in 2000. Well, I live in a part of Travis County that is now in a state senatorial district that stretches to San Antonio. It seemed like the one really competitive race was between the incumbant somewhat moderate R and a real wing nut. McCain had withdrawn the previous week but I voted for him because I loathed GWB.

Voted straight Yeller Dawg in November for all the good it did.

15. Ah,....From Westlake, Are Ya?
I'm sorry for you, having to put up with Lamar Smith as your Rep...

I'm in the new 25th District. I have no incumbent, currently, and still consider Doggett as my Congressman, as I was a part of the old 10th District.

Was glad when I heard Doggett was running for the new 25th...hope he wins.

At any rate, even if not, at least I'll still be represented by a Democrat in Congress. No way a Reouke is winning the 25th Disctrict. It is over 75% Dem.

17. Not quite
Brodie/William Cannon area.

Still wish I was in Gonzalo's district instead of Wentworth.

2. Never got the chance, but wanted to

I think he would have won comfortably, once the health issue was fully explained.

My reasons were that he was so smart, articulate, far seeing and carried no residual Clinton scanda baggage.

7. I supported Bradley in the Primary.
Then I worked Gore in the General. I try not to think about how it might have been if Bradley had won that Primary...

11. I supported Bradley over Gore in the Primaries but strongly
support Gore in the GE.

I had always liked Bradley and figured that he could lay claim to the strong economy of teh 90's but still have some distance from Clinton's "issues".

Bradley represented qualities in a leader I respected. I just wish he was more of a fighter.

13. Supported, worked for and voted for Bradley in 2000
Like Congressman Kucinich, he was a great progressive candidate and would have made an excellent President. But once again, many Democrats rejected their ideals.

14. I Voted Bradley in the GE!!!
I was not able to vote in the primary in 2000. I left my old state before they had their primaries, and arrived in my new state AFTER they had had theirs.

But I'd supported Bradley throughout the election.

So, in the General Election, as a Texas resident, knowing that, no matter what I did, my state was going RED...I wrote in Bill Bradley for President...and myself for VP.

I have thus gotten at least one vote for VP in my life...even if it was my own!

18. In the primary I supported --
--Bradley, then Gore in the general election against 'W'.

I miss Bill Bradley in the Senate. I wish he were a more active voice in our party.

Don't be a stranger, Bill. Drop in once and awhile.
