Any doubts that BushCo hasn't had Saddam on a leash for some time?
*'s interview with Diane Sawyer was announced a week ago. There's no telling how long this took to set up and schedule. And *now*, suddenly, * has Saddam to trot out, just oh-by-the-way?

If the turkey was staged, and the British Airways flight was staged, and the carrier-landing was staged, well, then, the dots now simply connect themselves.

Dec. 9, 2003 | NEW YORK (AP) -- President Bush will grant an interview at the White House next week to ABC News' Diane Sawyer, the network said Tuesday.

The interview will air on ``Primetime Thursday'' Dec. 18. Parts will also be shown on "Good Morning America,'' which Sawyer co-anchors.

Bush is expected to be asked about a broad range of policy issues, including the economy and the war in Iraq, and his expected bid for re-election. First lady Laura Bush will also join her husband for part of the interview, ABC said.

"Ultimate Penalty"

W A S H I N G T O N, Dec. 16 — Fresh from the success of capturing Saddam Hussein, President Bush told Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview that the Iraqi leader should face the "ultimate penalty" for his legacy of violence in Iraq.

2. You really think it would take a long time?
To schedule an interview with the President? I think anytime the President wants to give an exclusive interview, any of the networks will jump at the chance. To think it takes weeks to set up an interview is wrong. If Bush called any of the networks at 4 pm any day he'd be on the 6 pm news that night. That's one of the benefits of being President.

3. Yes, anyone living in a Totalitarian Nation like Imperial Amerika
would have such thoughts if they were watching what has been going on.

And for the millionth time I say: "Thank God for this twilight between the Old American Republic and Bushevik Imperial Amerika where life is still good and pretty undisturbed from what it was. Long may the time be coming when the Last Vesitges of the Old Republic are finally swept away by the Imperial Family and Tyranny finally trickles down into our daily lives."

4. not to mention LaHood, McDermott and DEBKA
...there are now numerous 'findings' that indicate that SH *may* have been already a prisoner just waiting to be 'caught' when most politically propitous for Bu$h - a la Jessica Lynch, "mission accomplished" banners, plastic turkeys, and the like.

6. I think this is the WORST time for them to catch him.
The event will be completely eclipsed by the soldiers who will die there in the next 10 months. If they DID "have him on a leash", they'd have made the leash a little longer, IMHO.
