Probably the most EGREGIOUS thing about the Jessica Lynch FAKE STORY
Typical.

Like Michael Moore said at the Oscars, we have a fake President, a fake war, fake reasons for doing so. The Saving Jessica Lynch story was finally 'debunked' by the Pentagon itself, under the cover of the absolute barbaric and endlessly-repeated displaying on television of the corpses of what supposedly are Saddam's boys; yet another "wag the dog" distraction, perfectly-timed, and perfectly coincidental for the Lucky, Lucky Bush Cabal. You didn't read about it or see the Pentagon's admission, did you? They admitted it was fake. They've also admitted WMD's wasn't the reason for war.

We're all victims of Bush's greed, mendacity, and socio-pathic domestic and foreign policy. But I think the biggest "victim" here, with regard to the Jessica Lynch story that they're still flogging, is the Walters family of Oregon.

We, as a nation, because of the man we still allow to remain at the helm, have never before sunk to so many all-time lows, all at the same time, for America at any point in her history, for so many of the wrong reasons. There's so many of us that know this, that so few are directly to blame for this, and yet so many continue to stare dumbly at the TV, "whaddya gonna do?" There's more of us than them; we need to stop this. Think about it. Like that famous quote about evil only succeeding because good men do nothing.

I blame Bush for this. I blame the media. And I blame ourselves if we don't start doing more to take our friggin' country back.

Okay, I'm preaching, here. Just hope I'm not yelling out into the wilderness. This is my point, right here:

1. good points Mike
Now this is an odd rant I am about to go on but I think I remember you man was your AOL sn ever CaptainMidnight or something like that because I remember someone with that name taking on the repukes in the AOL chatrooms during 2000 and you debunking the repukes and stuff. I really do. Its odd and it would be something. I was JHKleeb or something I doubt you would remember and it just popped in to my head too.

2. hmmmm
Need to think about that one.

I was on AOL a few years ago, but don't think it was as recent as 2000. May have me confused with someone else.

My old AOL was captnmdnyt.

3. ITA
I saw a brief interview with her last week. It was during the feel-good, welcome home Jessie day and it was a glancing mention. I sat there and cried for this woman and for her son. I swear, the more I hear of how our military treats its' own, I just get angrier. I am now more than thrilled that my husband is about to retire. This could've been my husband, or my son or my brother. My prayers go out to this family. Our media will never give this the coverage it deserves and the military will never give this man the honor he so richly deserves for giving his life in an illegal war. Rest in peace,Sgt. Walters. Rest in peace.
