Stench forces school closures
and I thought my school stunk........ Would I be unkind to suggest that a few more incidents like this could cause lazy americans to reconsider the value of recycling and more conservative use of EVERYTHING!

Stench Forces Pa. Schools to Close

By DAVID B. CARUSO
Associated Press Writer

PHILADELPHIA — An overpowering stench from a landfill forced two schools to close and send home about 1,000 students in northeastern Pennsylvania.

The disruption infuriated parents, residents and teachers in Taylor, a borough of 6,500 people on the Lackawanna River about 100 miles north of Philadelphia. Taylor's two garbage dumps accept hundreds of tons of trash daily.

1. I just went down memory lane for a moment
I was thinking about that horrible smell of school. You know, the combination of pencil shavings, industrial cleaner and vomit?

You mean they can smell worse?
