Why not draft Gore?

He is the only candidate with more experiance than Bush. He won the popular vote. No current candidate has better progressive posistions (except Kucinich, Braun, and Sharpton) then Gore did in 2000, and perhaps some of the Greens will be "scared straight" this time around.

Leiberman could be replaced with Dean as VP, and then, boom! We have an anti war ticket! Dean + Fear of Bush will draw some lefties back into the party, and we have a viable ticket.

I think that if a Draft Gore movement started to gain ground, all of the current candidates except Kucinich, Sharpton, Dean, and Kerry would drop out.

If we don't have a front runner who opposes the war, the drug war, the death penalty, and unfair trade, why not draft Gore?

HE DOESN"T WANT IT!!!! Listen, there was no bigger Gore booster than me. I have a re-Elect Gore/Lieberman 2004 on my car, and I was terribly disappointed when he decided not to run again, but the fact of the matter is the man doesn't want to run, he's made his decision and we should respect it.
