I tried to type it up but was interupted by a couple of phone calls.

A couple of points:

1. Bev didn't go over the top trying to claim elections had been rigged. She just made the point (very effectively) that the potential is out there unless there is an auditable paper trail.

2. Pointed out ties between Chuck Hagel and Diebold. And the fact that the paper trail in Nebraska could only be accessed with a court order. i.e. no random spot checks to make sure that the system was working accurately.

3. Laura Flanders (host) kept hammering on the petition that you can sign (check the Working Assets web site).

4. Bev prefaced her comments with: "I'm a writer not a computer scientist". And then basically made the point that even she could rig the system.

This is a big issue folks. I don't want to cast my vote on a machine that doesn't provide an auditable paper trail. Keep it up Bev !
