1. you know, there is no shame in replying to your own thread.

if, after starting four threads on vehicles in a short time, if you have another thought on the subject, you could add it to one of the existing threads rather than start another new thread.

someone might wonder if there was something on the first page that may be upseting to you? i'm not accusing, just really confused as to why someone would start a ha;f dozen threads on the same topic?

on edit...i was wrong. it was 5 threads not six.

2. Maybe that's part of the reason people like the hummers/h2s
They don't look like the SUVs soccer moms drive. The SUV looks mean compared to a van, and the H2 looks mean compared to an SUV.

3. people drive these things because they are selfish morons
fools. numbskulls. ignorant, uneducated pieces of garbage. Space takers. dummies. neanderthals.

No other reason.

5. I really like the styling on the H2
especially the colors..that bright yellow color w. the matte black trim. It has a very hi-tek look to it. Unlike anything on the road.,,it actually looks utility, sort of channeling the spirit of the old International "Scout".

10. Yeah I guess I see that a bit
I do like the old trucks. The early k5 blazers, the scouts, old military jeeps, etc. Although I like most old cars, I think it's the simplicity. The Unimogs, by Mercedes-Benz I think, look like they could eat a hummer. I'll see if I can find a picture if you don't know the one's I'm talking about. I'm guessing those will be the next big thing for people to drive.

4. thats true..my sister has one...Im starting to like SUVs.
A real nice Honda. She uses it to chauffer the kids around (to soccer!..& other things too).

After driving rental SUVs and riding around in Sis' one I am reallly starting to like SUVs. They are big and roomy inside. I like 'em.

most of us normal-sized, environmentally conscious folks would rather be driving something a little - a lot - more economical.

12. Sorry, but that doesn't cut it
My 6ft 3 in friend has absolutely no problem in my Civic - he's remarked on how much head-room there is, and there's plenty of room for his long legs.
