Granholm targets insurance companies

Just another reason Republicans hate Granholm. She also put a cap on interest rates at credit unions. She is getting quite a bit done for having to work with a GOP legislature.

2. This woman is a political genius.
She is going straight for the heart of RW bullshit -- which is money and economics. She is no wasting any time being a demagogue.

Interestingly, I think that a big reason she's able to do this is becuase she has a really nice personality and is very attractive. It's sad, but I think it's undeniable.

Democrats are so lucky this woman is a Democrat.

3. She is great
I can't remember a time in Michigan that a Democrat has gone after big business so successfully. She is after Dow Chemical, and she shut down Ice Mountain Bottled Water as well. She also tried to enforce a tax on nursing homes to keep Medicare intact as well, however a conservative court knocked it down. She closed a lot of the "tax loopholes" on the rich too. Republicans had to go along with a lot of her budget because she is so popular. The only reason Republicans control the legislature is because of all the redistricting they did under Gov. Engler. Both of our senators are Dems as well. Senator Levin and Senator Stabenow.

5. She's the reason the R's don't push their
idea of letting foreigners become president too hard. She's win and they'd cry.

Grnaholm rocks. I am proud she's my Governor.

6. She should run for the senate after Levin retires
She would be a great majority/minority leader.

7. Amen.
That's what I was thinking.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra was born in the Netherlands.
