1. I agree.
I'm not even watching him on C-Span, but I can tell you that anyway. I belive Kerry is the most Presidential of the Democratic candidates. I have absolutely nothing against the rest of them (okay, maybe Joe), but Kerry is my choice to beat Bush and withstand the GOP onslaught that will be coming.

9. Kerry can't even withstand his own screw ups
So how, exactly, do you propose that he will be able to withstand even a mild GOP onslaught? It's not going to happen.

2. He is good at being a senator.
I am just having more and more trouble seeing him as the nominee. I would vote for him whole heartedly if he was.

4. Kerry or Clark would have a runaway victory against Bush.

5. It's something in his demeanor
Edited on Sat Dec-06-03 02:24 PM by m-jean03
and appearance. A sadness, maybe. A seriousness, a sense of gravity.
Reminds me of Abe Lincoln in some way. I have a hard time with his war vote though, reconciling it with some of the stuff he wrote in his letters home from war. Maybe he really believed in WMD?I know good people who did.

8. Kerry has a serious, no nonsense demeanor, but that's a good thing..
He has all the credentials to be the next president.

6. With all due respect, fellow evilDUers ...
...does it not bother you that he's in the same creepy Yale secret society as Bush (Skull and Bones) which enacts death initiation rituals and was founded with money from opium-trafficking to China in the 1800s?

He voted to give Bush the power of endless war on Iraq, when you and I knew damn well Bush was lying.

Having said that, if he gets the nomination, I will have Kerry yard signs, T-shirts, and a facial tattoo.

7. Scare me more than say, the revolving door between the Pentagon...
... and major defense contractors like Boeing, Bechtel, and Halliburton? No. I think all the best conspiracies are hidden in plain view of everyone.

Bush may have lied from day one about Saddam, but it was at the same time a good idea never to let Saddam forget that he is being watched. It was about more than Bush and his ambitions.

I hope Kerry wins, but I will also do my darndest to see that a Democrat is put into the Oval Office.
