Why does Neil Bush get a free pass when Clinton was crucified?
I was just reading about what Sharon Bush's lawyers discovered during their depositions of Neil, which they took as part of the couple's divorce proceedings several months ago.

Neil admitted to shady business decisions and possible business improprieties, and also admitted to having sex with "women in Thailand" during business trips there. He claimed they would knock on his door, he'd answer it, they they came in and he had sex with them. They weren't prostitutes, he said, because he never paid them and he didn't know who they really were (yeah, right, SURE Neil!)

But I haven't heard a peep from the mainstream media whores about any of this at all, just a tiny paragraph in USA Today's "Nation Briefs" this week. No outrage from the "family values and morals" repuke fundies, no cries of "betrayal and disgrace" from the repukes, and total silence from repuke politicians. Same total silence that greets all news of "personal failings and improprieties" of repukes as opposed to the hysterical outcry and 24/7 media coverage of the slightest Dem failing.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's really none of our business what wsent on in the personal side of their marriage. It's the total fucking rank HYPOCRISY of it all from the repukes that I'm really, really, REALLY getting sick of.

If Neil Bush were a Dem, you'd NEVER hear the end of it from those self-righteous, sanctimonious, holier-than-thou, hypocritical, moralistic pontificators. Look at how Clinton was castigated, persecuted, and crucified over a perfectly legitimate business deal (Whitewater), and getting a blow job in the Oval Office, when almost every president we've had has done something similar or even worse.

Jesus, I get so damned tired of it. Then try to tell a freeper repuke about any hypocritical "failings" at all of the repukes who cast stones at any Dem in sight, and all you'll hear about is "Clinton, Clinton, Clinton!" Is anyone else as sick of this as I am?

2. Neither was Roger Clinton
and we heard a heck of a lot more about him than we're hearing about Neil.

3. Flashback: I don't remember Roger Clinton ...
... getting much of a free pass.

http://www.cnn.com/2001/ALLPOLITICS/02/22/burton.rich.02/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Government Reform Committee Chairman Dan Burton, R-Indiana, said Thursday his committee has information that former President Clinton's half-brother Roger Clinton represented people seeking pardons from the president.

"The committee has received reports that you were involved in representing individuals seeking pardons from President Clinton," Burton wrote in a letter to Roger Clinton.

13. Maybe Neil is not an elected official or government official
Edited on Sun Nov-30-03 07:08 PM by Catfish
but Silverado S & L ate up a lot of government $ and if it weren't for his family's government connections he'd have never earned a dime in his life. Well, maybe I shouldn't say earned, he wouldn't have been given a dime in his life.

Honestly, Poppy said that the S&L investigation was unfair because Neil was "slow" Well, if that is the case, why isn't Neil just doing Popsicle stick crafts somewhere?

9. Clinton was President of the United States
Neil is just a cheapjack "business man" with good family connections.

Could have something to do with the different treatment. I mean a nobody is a nobody--even if he has those family connections.

The Bushes are a thin skinned bunch and I'm sure they don't appreciate remarks like:

moron
cad
embarrassment
dim bulb

directed at one of their precious pups.

And this is only one thread at Freepers!

12. We've heard more about 13-yr-old Chelsea
than Neil or the rest of his clan. We're not even hearing about why Jeb's two sons aren't serving their country in Iraq or Afghanistan. Can you imagine if Clinton had an able-bodied son at home while we were at war in Kosovo?

18. Yes, we most
certainly would have NEVER heard the end of it if Clinton had had an able-bodied son who wasn't serving, the media whores would find some way to get it into the papers, radio and TV EVERY SINGLE DAY!

17. You're right. It's the hypocrisy.
The mainstream media is pretty much silent on all this. Neil is the BROTHER of President Dumbass. Remember all the crap we heard about Roger Clinton? Which wasn't near as bad as what Neil himself is revealed to have done.

Has Hannity said anything? How about pill popping Rush? And some of you wonder why we say the media is on the repukes side....
