When is Sharon up for re-election
Edited on Tue Nov-25-03 12:05 AM by La_Serpiente
I found it scary that both Bush and Sharon were elected within a very small time frame of each other. They both are terrorists, and have created an unholy alliance against the Muslim world.

1. sharon is a prime minister, not a president
He is more like a Speaker of the House/head of state. He is the speaker of the Isreali parliment, and elected by the party in power in the parliment, and not the Isreali people. They elect their parliment, and the parliment elects the prime minister. But besides that, I don't know when the next election is in Isreal. But I think Sharon is an extremist. Isreali was better off with Burak, someone more moderate and reasonable. Sharon's only solution is kill kill kill, which results in nothing besides and escelation of the violence. Isreal needs someone more sensable, who can start the peace process again. As we learned during the 90s, the only time they aren't killing each other over there is when they are at the negotiation table.

3. Sharon is a war criminal
He should be prosecuted, not re-elected.
