The medicare debate winds up for the evening
with Durbin going strong, and Kennedy to follow.

The idea was to end for the evening, and come back in the morning for a 9:15am vote on HR 1.

the other thread will sink, but i wanted to get a heads up to those who may want to hear Kennedy wrap up the evening's debate.

2. Tomorrows always a new day
so i'll walk the dog, and come back to hear Kennedy rake it over the coals, hopefully.

' senior have the choice now to choose their doctors'
'seniors will have to join hmo to get healthcare'
'will lavish subsidies on ins cos'
' not competition, but corporate welfare'
' medicare cannot compete, and the seniors are the losers'
