3. They would and they do!
I get many Conservative callers and hundreds of Wacko Right-Wing hate e-mails every week. Oh, they're listening alright. In our area they have promised to get our show off the air "by any means necessary."

7. How are you doing, BB?
The economy sucks. I know it must be hard to get the funding to stay afloat. You are really doing a service to the community. They-- like us Texans-- have GOT to hear 'the other side'.

8. Funding? What funding?
Its getting to be a critical matter. If something doesn't happen in the next two weeks, I'm afraid we are history. Thanks for asking! You were one of our very first callers even before we started streaming the program.

5. Absolutely
I listen to a conservative station in Chicago (ABC affiliate WLS) that had a message board. The station is 95% right wing talk and the message boards are always bombarded by responses to the 5% on the left.

6. If it was on while they were commuting
I used to listen to whatever was on the radio when I used to commute. Now I think there's nothing but hate during commute hours where I live.

9. There are different types of conservatives.
Edited on Thu Jul-24-03 05:04 PM by BillyBunter
The type that listens to Rush and people like that aren't interested in hearing dissenting views, while the more intelligent conservatives I know don't listen to talk radio. In my opinion, they wouldn't.

10. Yes, they would...
..but after awhile they would stop listneing, like I stopped listeing to conservative talk radio for one simple fact.

Destroy the market share of the radio host, and you have power over them.

By not listeing, you remove yourself from advertisers. If they are smart enough, they will not listen to liberal talk radio.

But it's hard not to listen?

Becuase the evil liberal conspiracy is coming for all those innocent conservative freepers!!!!!!HAHAHAHAHA.

14. They listen to KBOO's morning talk shows
Last week the topic was state tax reform, and some guy called in and claimed that it wasn't so bad that PGE (owned by Enron) paid only $10 in state corporate income tax last year, because after all, they paid payroll taxes to the Feds.

Uh, yay, right. If that guy hadn't been anonymous I would have nominated him for the Top Ten Conservative Idiots.
