This is disgusting; what have we come to? If they are going to show this horrible pictures at least give a warning that they are about to put them up. How many terrorists has this bread?

1. Good question
I won't be able to watch the news with my kids in the room. Do not want them seeing such disturbing photos.

2. The excuse is "to show the people of Iraq that they are really
dead". When did they get the electricity back on and distribute T.V.'s to everyone?

3. That was the excuse
but we know they don't give a shit about the people of Iraq. It was a disgusting horse and pony show. Rumsfeld "glad"!

5. Turn the TV off
It's not that hard. I would if I had little ones in my house.

And I disagree about the photos. We did the deed; we ought to be able to look it in the eye. It's false modesty to kill somebody then be squeamish about it afterwards. As for the Iraqis, dead bodies on TV news are par for the course in the arab world.

CNN is reporting some Iraqis don't believe the pics and want to see the bodies.

"You're going to be paying for this the rest of your lives."

An apology might be in order as well.

8. Violence - good, Sex - baaad - it's the GOP way
We were supposed to be disgusted by a BJ but be enamored by an a*hole who smirks and gets his jollies when he talks about killing. What's wrong with your kids - they didn't get with the program yet?

10. how do we tell them it was all right to kill them in the first place?
"oh, those were bad men"--??

so it's okay to go around killing people we believe to be "bad"?

but so many dead bodies and so much blood, gore, guts, and killing are already shown on TV, maybe kids won't even notice that these are REAL dead people.

pathetic.

11. What will you tell them when it's the guy next door? or you?

Millions of kids all over the world see the handiwork of the US regime up close and personal.

Although it is probable that the majority of domestic operations will take place in low-income neighborhoods, it is inevitable that affluent white children will at some point come face to face with Mom's tax dollars at work.

14. The same thing you would if you came upon an accident
on the highway that had fatalities. You can't shelter them from reality all the time so the best thing is to deal with it head on. Maybe it could be worked into a discussion on the horrors of war.

15. Tell them that President Bush
Didn't consider them when he ordered the shoot out. If he had considered all the girls and boys of America, he would have ordered that Odai and Qusai be taken alive at all cost.

Because then the President could have asked about the WMD, which would be nice to know if it exist where it is. So that the WMD is not dropped on all the little girls and boys of America.

Of course, when you are a root'n, toot'n cowboy without the brains to pour piss out of boot, you kill someone who might know where the WMDs are hidden.

16. This is a planned diversion: a shock-and-awe strategy to divert from
the more compelling news about Bushco.

I really think we ought to ignore it. Otherwise, we can expect to see it debated ad nauseum by the pundits at the expense of very valuable information that is not surfacing. But that's just my humble opinion.
